Wilton Candy Melts Green - 125g

Wilton Candy Melts melt smoothly and set firm, so you get neat coatings without tempering. They’re a simple way to finish cake pops, dipped biscuits, strawberries, simple moulds and create an easy cake drip.

Hints and Tips

Chill cake pop centres until firm before dipping to help avoid surface cracks as the coating sets. Add sprinkles while the surface is still tacky so they hold securely. A tall, narrow cup gives a cleaner dip and uses less coating than a wide bowl. For cake drip, aim for a ribbon that falls off the spoon and slowly disappears back into the bowl, then test a small drip on a chilled cake edge before committing. Decanting into a squeeze bottle or piping bag gives steadier lines for drips and fine drizzle. You can thin to your desired consistency with a little melted vegetable fat or using cocoa butter drops. 

How to Use

Place Candy Melts in a clean, dry, microwave-safe bowl. Heat at reduced power in short bursts, stirring well between each, until smooth. If the coating feels thick, stir in a few cocoa butter drops until it flows in a steady ribbon suitable for dipping or cake drip. Dip, drizzle or pour into dry moulds. Leave to set on baking paper or in the mould at room temperature until firm.

Storage: store in a dry, dark place, under 25°C.
Due to their nature, the Candy Melts may melt in transit and storage. They are still perfectly fine to use, but note that they may not arrive in their original shape.
