Hints and Tips
Shake the bottle well before using to loosen settled pigment. Start with a small amount and build up until you reach the shade you want as the pigments are very concentrated. Colours make need time to settled and develop, prepare in advance where possible. Use a clean toothpick or the inside of the bottle cap to create a hole in the foil for precise flow control. If you’re experimenting with chocolate drip or toppings, a few drops can produce a marbled effect when shaken lightly. Store upright and away from direct sunlight.
How to Use
Use a drop or less at a time, adding slowly and mixing thoroughly. Stir until fully incorporated before adding more. If you’re working with fondant, you can swipe colour from a toothpick onto the surface and knead it in. Clean the nozzle after use and keep the lid tightly sealed to preserve pigment strength.
It’s ideal for colouring buttercream, Swiss meringue, ganache, cake batter, chocolate, and fondant. It also works well in sugarpaste, flower paste, gum paste, modelling paste, royal icing, marzipan, isomalt, cake lace, pastry, frosting, glaze, and cookie dough. You can use it in edible paints, piping gel, writing gel, drip mixes, and even ready-made icing or bake-at-home cake kits. Designed to blend smoothly into any high-fat or oil-based recipe.
