Hints and Tips

Masonite boards are especially useful for tall, stacked or sculpted cakes where strength and flatness matter. For best results, choose a drum at least 2 inches wider than your cake to allow room for decorations, piping, or a border. 

How to Use

Wipe the board with a clean, dry cloth before use. Place your cake directly on top or line with food-safe paper if preferred. Use as the base board for single or stacked cakes. For heavier designs, apply a small amount of buttercream, royal icing or melted chocolate to anchor the cake to the board. Always lift the board from underneath and support evenly when transporting. Store flat, in a dry place.
