Hints and Tips
Knead the fondant until it feels soft and smooth before rolling. Work on a clean, flat surface with a light dusting of icing sugar to stop it sticking. Roll it out from the centre, turning it as you go to keep the thickness even and stop it sticking underneath.
When lifting onto your cake, drape it gently from the centre outwards so the weight is evenly supported. Smooth the top first, then work down the sides with your hands or a smoother, taking your time to press out any air pockets. If you spot small marks, they can often be hidden with decorations or light texturing. Always wrap any leftover fondant tightly so it stays soft for your next project.
How to Use
Remove the fondant from packaging and knead until pliable. If required, place in the microwave for 5–10 seconds to activate the Thermo-Tech feature. Roll out evenly to the desired size on a clean, lightly dusted surface. Lift carefully and drape over your prepared cake. Smooth from the top down, working towards the edges, then trim away any excess.

Do not refrigerate sugar paste unless absolutely necessary, as condensation can affect the finish.
